The Swiss millionaire Edi Gast, has declared today the founding of a fund for the judicial fight against the ruling of the German court to ban Bris Millah.

Gast, a hareidi Jew, is an international tycoon with business activity in Switzerland, USA and Russia, where he started managing businesses already in 1992. During Putin's last visit to Israel, he met with him and thanked him for the opportunity which was given him in Russia.

Putin, in reply to the thanks, asked him to recommend to other investors to invest in Russia. Gast was one of the few business people at that time who dared do business with Russia at a period which was definitely unstable.

Gast always kept a low profile and refused approaches from international underwriters to recruit money in different stock exchanges around the world. His motto is: my money, without partners.

Gast declared the foundation of the fund of 10 million Euro, which will be dedicated to fight the ban on holding a Bris Milla. The fund will pay for the activity of attorneys, lobbyists in the European parliament and the European Union. The connection with political personalities will form a considerable part of the actions for cancelling the prohibition.

Gast, who has been dealing with philanthropy for many years, has decided, relying on his past experience, that any body which will turn to the fund to receive support, will have to present a detailed budget plan.
