178 Million Dollars Awarded To Family Of Murdered Baby
Iran will pay 178 million dollars to the family of a baby who was murdered in a terror attack in Yerushalayim

A U.S court ruled that Iran will have to pay 178 million dollars to the Braun family, who their eldest daughter Chaya Zisel Hy’’d was brutally murdered in a terror attack.
The baby was murdered in 2014 in a cruel car-terror attack, that took place at Givat Hatichmoshit train station in Yerushalayim. The terrorist, a Hamas affiliate, rammed his car into a crowd of people as they were crossing the street, amongst them was Chaya zisel a’’h age three months, and her parents. Her father Shmuel, was also injured in the attack. Her mother was unharmed.
Adding to the family’s unimaginable pain is the fact that Chaya Zisel a’’h was born to her parents after long anticipation for a child.
The Braun family are American citizens, and decided to embark on a legal battle in U.S. courts against the terror organization that murdered their daughter.
The lawsuit was filed by Attorney Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, who heads the Tel Aviv-based Law Center, “Shurat Hadin”, an organization that fights legal battles against terror organizations.
The suit was filed against Iran and Syria on the basis that they support and supply the Hamas terror group which was responsible for the terror attack that killed Chaya Zisel Hy’’d.
“Shurat Hadin” has been very successful in court; and up until today has already won over 2 billion dollars in lawsuits filed against terror organization or their sponsors.
Grandfather of the murdered baby, Shimshon Halperan is the son of the late R’ Refael Halperan, who was a great asken and founder of Halperan glasses chain store.
Attorney Nitsana Darshan-Leitner said “This judgement sends a clear message that there is a very heavy price to be paid for financing terrorism and spilling innocent blood in the streets of Jerusalem. ‘’Shurat Hadin’’ will relentlessly pursue the Islamic Republic and Syria through all legal avenues in order to ensure that these judgements are enforced and that the terror victims achieve a measure of justice.”
