Hagaon Harav Galinsky to the Viznitzer Rebbes: "Today I lost a grandson"
Hagaon Harav Galinsky received the harsh news of his grandson's death by drowning, and went to menachem the Viznitzer Rebbes. Before he left he said: "You are in mourning, but I too have my personal misfortune".

The extended Galinsky family, headed by the grandfather, the well known "Magid" Hagaon Harav Yaakov Galinsky, was struck by misfortune today: the grandson and son, the Bochur Avraham Zvi z"l, Talmid in Kol Torah Yeshiva, the son of Harav Elimelech Galinsky, found his death in the Prath river, in the area of Wadi Kelt.
The grandfather, Hagr"y Galinsky, was updated about the bitter news during the evening hours of Monday. Despite his deep grief, he went to menachem the Viznitzer Rebbes in Kiryat Viznitz, Bnei Brak, last night.
After he was menachem aveilim, and was about to leave, he turned to the Rebbes and those present, and said with pain: "You are sitting Shiva and are in mourning, but I too have my personal sorrow. Today I lost a grandson" and he related what had happened.
One of those present told Behadrey Haredim that all those who were there shed a tear with him.
After the Nichum Aveilim, the grandfather Harav Galinsky went in a Ichud Hatzalah ambulance to Jerusalem, in order to take part in his grandson's levaya, with two paramedics escorting him, since his health has weakened recently.
Meanwhile, today (Tuesday) within the mourning, another grandson of Harav Galinsky, the son of his son Bezalel Galinsky, of the Roshei Yeshiva of Be'er Yizchak in Telzstone, is getting married. The simcha will take place at the Frahnd Hall in Ramat Beit Shemesh B.
