Hagaon R' Chaim Kanievsky was taken to the Ma'ayanei Hayeshua hospital last night (Mon.) for checkups only, but there it was decided to keep him in hospital in light of the findings.
Over the last days, Hagr"c suffered of general weakness, and Minyanim were held in his home. Yesterday he went out to make Birkas Hailanos, close to his home.
Today, in contrast to every year, R' Chaim did not go to draw "Mayim Shelanu" at the water tower in Bnei Brak, and tomorrow, so it seems, he will not arrive at the Mazah bakery.
The Tzibur is asked to daven and evoke Rachmei Shamayim for the Refuah Shleima of R' Shmaryahu Yosef Chaim ben Pesha Miriam, among all Jewish ill.
