Boruch Dayan Ha'emes: This morning (Wed.) Reb. Chaya Rosenthal, wife of Hagaon R' Moshe Aharon Rosenthal, of the heads of Kollel Chazon Ish, was niftar in Bnei Brak at the age of 75.
The deceased was born 75 years ago to her father, Hagaon R' Mattisyahu Ze'ev Shtigel, Rosh Yeshivas Beis Yosef – Novardok. Already in her youth she turned to education, a field in which she invested her might and soul until her last day.
Tens of years she stood at her husband's side, yibadel lechayim, and helped him delve in his studies without disturbance, while she became famous for her Chessed, and her smiling countenance to all.
In her last years, she battled with a harsh disease, and today she succumbed to it.
She left a Dor Yeshorim Mevorach. Her sons: Harav Matisyahu Rosentahl, Harav Yosef Rosenthal – mashpia in Yeshiva Ketana in LA, Harav Eliezer Rosenthal – head of a Talmud Torah in Beit Shemesh, and Harav Nachum Rosenthal. Her sons-in-law: Harav Yosef Kahanaman, a Rav in Ponevez, Harav Noach Korman, Harav Yehoshua Heizler, Harav Zvi Berlin and Harav Pinchas Zwebner.
Her levalya left at 14:30pm from her home on 19 Baal Shem Tov st., Bnei Brak, to the Ponevez cemetery.
May her soul be cherished for eternal life.
