Lakewood: seven seriously injured in car accident
Speeding car hit a seven-year-old boy on Shabbos afternoon, in Lakewood, and wounded him with a head injury • Angry residents: it is a dangerous road which has claimed many victims

A Haredi child, seven years old, resident of Haredi West - Gate neighborhood in Lakewood, was seriously injured on Shabbos afternoon, by a speeding car at the intersection of Kelm Woods and Hillside Boulevard.
The child was hit hard in the head, and was treated by Hatzala, who transported him to the Jersey Shore Medical Center while unconscious.
Yesterday, during the night shifts of Tehillim were dedicated to his recovery in the Kehal Chassidim shull in the neighborhood.
Police are investigating the incident.
The neighborhood residents are outraged, they say the accident occurred at a dangerous intersection – which already claimed many victims in the past. They asked activists and the municipality to hang up warning signs at the place, but so far nothing has been done.
The public is asked to pray for the recovery of the child Yitzchak ben Yocheved who is in a serious condition.
