After the Rabbi fled from Israel, because he was wanted for police investigation, the families contrived advice on how to make the wedding with the participation of the rabbi. Recently it was decided that the ceremony will take place in Morocco, and then celebrate the wedding feast in Israel.
The groom Nathan Goldblum - grandson of the Rabbi - took off yesterday with his family to Morocco. The bride, daughter of the Gewirtz family, took off this morning, along with her family.
According to the plan, the ceremony will be held this evening in the town located near Marrakech, where the Rabbi is staying. A source involved in the details of planning told B'Chadrei Charedim that the chuppa hour is subject to change.
Even the wedding, which was supposed to take place tomorrow in Mitzpe Jericho, apparently – was postponed, because "it is not clear when the families will return to Israel." The source close to the families said: "They will remain with the rabbi to strengthen him."
