Anti-Semitic incident in Uman: a cross was placed in the Tashlich River

Shock: Jewish residents in Uman, Ukraine discovered today (Tuesday) a huge cross erected in the Tashlich Lake, where thousands of Jewish people come on Rosh Hashana.
Apparently, the cross was placed by the anti-Semitic elements. These factors are jealous of the warm relations between the Hasidim, local residents and authorities, and apparently placed the cross on the Tashlich River to prevent Jews from praying in the area.
Deputy Mayor and police chief master responded: Placing of the cross was made illegally and without authorization." He said it probably really is a provocation against Jews.
According to Simon Buskila, CEO of the Breslov Center: "We are working with all parties to remove the cross. We turned to law enforcement to remove it, after we realized it was placed there illegally."
