Two months of arduous negotiations come to an end today: this afternoon Binyamin Netanyahu's new government will be sworn in • Haredi party leaders will strongly attack • New era?

A month and a half after the elections - today (Monday) the 33rd government of Israel will be sworn in. After lengthy and twisting negotiations, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will put together his third government from the factions Likud, Israel Beiteinu, Yesh Atid, Jewish Home and the Movement.
The prime minister will stand this afternoon and present the Knesset plenum with 21 new ministers by their names and roles. After the name presentation, Netanyahu will detail the guidelines of the new government and will ask the Knesset to give him its trust.
After the Prime Minister's speech, a long discussion will begin and the heads factions will come up to the podium. The first will be Labor leader Shelly Yachimovich that probably in two weeks will be appointed head of the Opposition. Estimates are that the Haredi party leaders will strongly attack the new government, and the duo Bennett - Lapid in particular.
Following the discussion, the Prime Minister will be first to swear the oath of allegiance, then all the ministers one by one will swear in anticipation of their new position.
With the start of the meeting, MK Yuli Edelstein will be appointed chairman of the Knesset, instead of the temporary chairman Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, the eldest of MKs, who has served so far.
The government swearing in will be attended, except for MKs, by many guests, including family members of new ministers. Yesterday work was done to dismantle the government table and reduce its size following the reduction in the number of Ministers.
After the discussion the prime minister and new ministers will arrive at the Presidential Residence to be photographed with President Shimon Peres.
