Yachimovich: "Your victory image - a government without orthodox"
"Opponents do not understand you are an ideologue," the opposition leader encouraged Benjamin Netanyahu, but also sharply attacked: "You all came from satisfied and prestigious families. A government that excludes the majority of citizens"

During a ceremony to present the new Government, after the words of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opposition leader Shelly Yachimovich delivered a speech, who did not spare harsh words for the new government.
"Let's say here, right now, and unequivocally: we are your opposition", she opened her remarks. "This ensemble highlights the two countries – the satisfied and the needy – in the most painful way possible. You are the satisfied leadership, rich, who although physically sits in its midst, but just cannot understand what that nation is going through. You four: Netanyahu, Lapid, Bennett, Livni - are satisfied you come from privileged families and never wrestled for a living. You are all capitalists! Let's call you by your name."
Avodah chairman also addressed the negotiations which took place in front of her and the exclusion of orthodox parties: "After a month and a half, I know, you wanted us very much your government. Political opponents like to say dismissive things which I will not repeat here, they refuse to understand that apart from all your faults - you're an ideologue. You are a deep and real right winged political and economic man, so today we begin and continue the dispute between us. With all good intentions – this is a government of exclusion, excludes the majority of citizens. Your winning image is a government without the orthodox."
"We are talking about the right to live a normal life here and not just a matter of survival. The right to life with dignity, the right for economy, the right to justice, the poor and the rich, the right to shelter our heads, the right to travel abroad cheaply once every few years, to fund a child's guitar lesson, the right to buy Milky, even chicken and avocado, the right for a full fridge and the right for a fun family dinner around the table".
