Elad municipality workers struggling: "on the verge of disgrace"

Elad Municipality conflict again: workers will demonstrate tomorrow opposite the office of mayor, Yitzchak Eidan, protesting the substantial cuts in workers' wages following the municipal budget deficit. "On the verge of disgrace".

Tomorrow, employees will protest against the municipality "which does not meet their word", and against the mayor who "does not respect the papers on which he is signed." Employees complain that even a holiday gift they will not receive from the municipality.
"It's time to say: Enough! Never again! If today we brought home salaries that could be considered favorable, the management of the municipality brings us to the doorstep of the fiasco. It is impossible that an employee who has given his life working for ten years for the Municipality of Elad comes home with the minimum wage! We are not slaves!"
Committee chairman wrote on the invitation to the protest: "It will be a protest rally against the management of the municipality, the audacity, the lies and the terrible situation that we find ourselves in." At the same time we have turned to the General Histadrut to declare immediately after Pesach, a labor dispute in the municipality, while disrupting the regular activities of the municipality.
