Three year old boy who was walking with his mother in Monsey, ran to the road and was hit by a passing car driven by a Haredi man • Evacuated in serious condition with fractures and internal injuries • Police: the driver is not at fault

Accident in Monsey: a Haredi child of about three years old was run over and seriously injured in front of his mother.
The accident occurred on Rita Avenue in Monsey. The boy was walking with his mother on the street, and when she lost her grip he ran to the road. A car driven by a passing Haredi driver, hit the child.
Hatzala volunteers and police forces arrived speedily at the accident scene. The volunteers provided the child with primary care, after which he was transferred to the trauma unit at the Westchester Medical Center, suffering from fractures in his entire body and internal injuries.
Police announced that the driver involved is not guilty, and that he could not notice the child and stop in time.
The public is asked to pray for the child Mordechai Zeide Ben Malka Yita for Refuah Sheleima.
