Deputy Minister of Defence, MK Danny Danon has always been a rightist in Likud. In 2007 when he ran against Benjamin Netanyahu and Moshe Feiglin his slogan was: "Danny Danon on your right, Bibi."

It turns out that from then on he remains "on your right, Bibi." Currently he is working hard to center around him major power of the Likud members – which will bring along with it, perhaps, a revolution in the structure of the coalition, initially rather forced on the Prime Minister, as well as most members of the Likud. "I'm preparing Likud to replace Lapid with the Haredim," he said.

In a conversation with the deputy minister, is he tells B'Chadrei Charedim the way he believes he could bring about the desired change. In between he also managed to talk to MK's of the ultra-Orthodox parties and asked for their help to direct their speeches towards what he has in mind.

Starting point: Equal burden? Everyone.
This was, remember, Yisrael Beiteinu which demanded that a year ago, when the Plesner Committee handed in the recommendations. If equality - then equality for all, Arabs as well as haredim, on that motto right now Danon goes, and his Likud team MKs including Miri Regev, Yariv Levin and others. According to him, there is also support from the direction of Yisrael Beiteinu, which is now an integral part (almost) of the Likud.

Yesterday, at the Likud faction meeting, Danon raised the issue with friends. "No vote was taken, but I'm sure when there will be - I can muster a majority to support my position," said Danon. Incidentally, Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman, who spoke to reporters at the entrance to the faction meeting, made it clear that this equality will burden will also include the Arab population.
Danon is aware of the Likud coalition agreement with Yesh Atid and Habayit Hayehudi appears commitment to equality legislation of the Haredi public burden. But on the other hand traced and found the mandate of Perry Committee, it was explicitly stated that the issue is increasing equality for all citizens of Israel.

• Have you talked about it with Yaakov Perry, Chairman of the Committee?

"Absolutely. He made it clear that the direction of the Committee on Israeli Arabs would be on a voluntary basis only."

• This means real inequality ...

"Exactly. That is what I also said. They claim, the issue is complex. I replied to them, even recruiting the Orthodox is a most complex issue. But it turns out that when talking about the Jews, they do not have the same sensitivity they discover when it comes to Arabs."
• If the law will be submitted to the plenary and will impose coalition discipline what will you do?

"I personally will not support it!"

But the issue of burden is only one issue of all issues very discordant to the Deputy Minister Danon, as well as members of the Likud. "We do not like the style, the ultra-Orthodox public tirade; the discrimination is also reflected in economic matters. Saying that the Haredim are our biggest problem, these are statements not accepted upon us! With respect to Yair Lapid and his friends, the style is not acceptable to us."
Then he goes on to political issue. "This section of discrimination on the burden only reveals that Lapid is a complete leftist. He recently began hinting quite explicitly political directions which he is aiming, maybe it will tear the first rift in the government," he hopes.

• When you talked at the faction, Netanyahu agreed with your words?

"He did not speak, but I felt that there is internal factional consensus."

• do you think you can bring a process of replacing Yesh Atid with ultra-Orthodox parties?
"We all know us Likud wanted it in the first place, so did the prime minister. Those who flunked the move were Habayit Hayehudi, and they still those who are obstructing it. Maybe shifting political direction to make it clear that friendship with Yesh Atid is not in their favor. I am in constant contact with friends in Tekuma and I address them in all aspects of the Land of Israel."

• If so, Haredim can see you as an address for interior coalition ...

"Absolutely. Not just me. Haredim have an address in the Likud, Likud voters do not like to hear the songs of Lapid, anti Orthodox and anti-religious tunes."
