In response to continued detention, the lawyer on the boy's behalf from Chanenu, attorney Adi Kedar said: "The police demanded to extend the detention of my client by 12 days; the court rejected the request and extended the detention by four days. There seems to be no evidence or the right to bring this investigation to exhaustion, and I believe the suspect will be released as soon as possible without being indicted."

The front door of the Latrun Monastery was ignited on 13th Elul תשע"ב. As a result of the fire the old wooden door was burned almost completely. At the scene was found, among other things, addresses "Jesus is a Monkey" and "Migron".

Two days before the vandalism, police evacuated Migron from all its inhabitants, and during the evacuation eight people were arrested. About 70 young people who entrenched in one of the buildings and resisted the police were removed from the outpost. Families who lived there left in the morning without resistance.

On the morning of the destruction of the monastery a few dozen right-wing activists holed on the roofs of two buildings. First, dozens of police officers were able to remove dozens of teenagers from the outpost, but they hurried back to the surface, the police removed them again – but they7 returned again.
