Burglary occurred on Friday night at the offices of tent compound, located near the grave of Rabbi Nachman in Uman, Ukraine.
The guard was attacked and burglars took a safe with money which was estimated at hundreds of thousands of shekels intended for the payment of workers and suppliers for the preparatory work of tents towards the days of Rosh Hashanah.
During the struggle with the intruders - the security guard, a local Gentile, was injured and hospitalized at a local hospital in a critical condition.
Local police opened an investigation.
Currently hundreds of women are in woman for Tu B'Av (Monday) in which hundreds of women are accustomed to daven.
World Breslov Center spokesman said: "Uman senior police Charqas District Police came over Shabbos to the scene, Charqas police chief promised at the end of Shabbos in a conversation with activist Rabbi Shimon Buskilla, Director of the World Breslov Center, that in the coming days the burglars would be caught and brought into custody."
