Palestinian news agency Maan reported shortly before Saturday in the name of Egyptian military sources that "Israel bombed the basis of global jihad in Egyptian Rafah." According to the report it is the base located near the border with Israel, near Kerem Shalom.
According to the news agency, the rocket launcher was attacked and blast killed at least five activists belonging to one of the Jihad organizations that operate more freely in Sinai.
A few hours after the attack, Egypt has denied reports that the attack was carried out by Israel. Egyptian army spokesman said, Israel is not the one behind the bombing today. Variants reported in the Arab media claimed, among other things, that the aircraft is the Egyptian army behind the attack.
Israel has not yet addressed the reporting and still does not have any confirmation from another source. The IDF told B'Chadrei Charedim: "we do not refer to foreign reports."
