Dozens of terrorists were wounded in a raid of Egyptian security forces which took place on Saturday on the Sinai Peninsula, according to Arab media reports.
Egyptian security officials say 31 people were injured in the attack. According to reports 10 militants were killed, 20 wounded and 15 more arrested in Sheikh Zweid and Egyptian Rafah.
Egyptian security sources told the Palestinian agency Ma'an that seven fighter jets bombed houses where militants holed today. It was further reported that the aircraft bombed vehicles and motorcycles which drove some of the gunmen.
Witnesses said that some of the houses that were bombed were set on fire and smoke billowed from the rooftops.
