Iranian spy indicted

Central District Prosecutor's Office filed today (Sunday) at Lod District Court an indictment against Alex Manes / Ali Mansouri, 55 Iranian citizen and Belgian citizenship, for espionage and aiding the enemy during the war .
According to the indictment, filed by attorney Orly Ben - Ari - Ginsberg, in 2012, the defendant raised the Iranian intelligence espionage mission to harm the security of Israel. For this purpose he went to Israel three times, and tried to promote actively and consistently Open Society in Israel , which will serve as a fictitious business infrastructure , for the activities of people from Iranian intelligence , which was supposed to arrive in Israel in the future.
The defendant met with Iranian intelligence officials, many times, for a mission briefing. To realize the task, and the instructions he received from Iranian intelligence, patterns of action the defendant acted secret work characteristics, in order to disguise the way on, the mission and identity of senders.
After each trip to Israel the defendant was questioned by his handlers for his country, the progress of his mission, and was briefed to prepare for his next trip. The defendant gave all he had discovered during his visits , and message recorded and collected documents , including relevant documents for options to open a company in Israel , airport security procedures at Ben Gurion , including the characteristics of security testing and polling procedures , and photos of complex Ben Gurion Airport , the Embassy of the United States and classified security facility.
