Tragedy Flatbush: Avraham Mordechai Feldmous z"l, 82 and a senior of the haredi community in Flatbush, New York, died yesterday (Tuesday) of his wounds, after being injured in an accident.
The accident occurred on Monday at eight at night, when Feldmous crossed the road and a Nissan car model driving at excessive speed ran over him.
Witnesses called the "Hatzlah" who found him unconscious and not breathing and he was taken to the hospital in a difficult situation.
Police arrested the driver, 59 and found he was driving drunk at the time of the accident.
For long hours doctors struggled to save his life but late last night he returned his soul to his Creator.
The funeral was held this afternoon at Shomrei Hachamos in Boro Park.
Police today released the driver to trial to be held in September.
