Dangerous in Israel? Following the Solid Rock Operation the U.S. State Department released a travel warning to Israel.
Alongside the recommendation against travel to Israel, the United States strengthened the most severe warning against traveling to the Palestinian Authority, due to the fighting between Israel and Hamas.
"The State Department recommends that U.S. citizens consider canceling visits to Israel and the West Bank, and highlights the existing warning against visits to the Gaza Strip," it said in a statement released tonight.
The announcement further said: "The complex security atmosphere of Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, requires U.S. citizens to be aware of the risks of the visit, due to the conflict between Israel and Hamas."
