Yisrael Horowitz z"l
Today (Wednesday) in the afternoon, at the Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem, yeshiva student Yisrael Horowitz z"l passed away after a year of fighting a malignant disease. He was 16 years old.
Yisrael Horowitz z"l, of Breslov Chassidus, lost his father the late Rabbi Shlomo Horowitz, when he was only two months old, and he lived at the Neustadt family in Beitar Illit.
He learned at the 'Maase Hiya' Talmud Torah in Beitar, and yeshiva ketana of Darchei Ish – Lelov in Betar Illit.
He was a boy with all good qualities and perfect in his traits. His teachers note his excellence in studies, his hasmoda and special memory. He also excelled in the love of fellow Jews.
Several months ago, while Yisrael was undergoing treatment, he was given a birthday party at the office of Mayor of Betar Illit Meir Rubinstein, which lasted a long time in honor of Yisrael z"l, who also received a gift from the mayor.
The funeral will leave tonight at 22:00pm from Shamgar funeral home in Jerusalem, to Mount of Olives, where he will be buried alongside his late father.
May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
