A recent meeting was held between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Barack Obama in the White House. The meeting took place in private for about fifteen minutes, and later Secretary of State John Kerry joined and senior National Security Council on the American side and Netanyahu's entourage.

The prime minister's entourage said before the meeting that for Netanyahu the meeting will focus on Iran meeting. It should be noted that the Prime Minister expressed his concern in his speech at the UN from giving discounts to Tehran on the nuclear issue in return for joining the fight against ISIS.

In the opening session, Prime Minister Netanyahu said that "we must work hard to take advantage of new opportunities created in the region." Netanyahu went on to explain: "There is to promote peace based on two states for two peoples with mutual recognition and security arrangements which are rock hard."

During the meeting, Obama reminded the "Operation Preventive Edge" and said that "we must find a way to change the status quo so that Israel will be safe in their homes, but also that there will be no more tragedies of Palestinian children who would be killed. Therefore we discussed extensively reconstruction of Gaza, but also in how you can reach a stable peace between Israelis and Palestinians.

Netanyahu thanked Obama for supporting Israel, "your support for Iron Dome system saved a lot of Israelis during Operation Preventive Edge. Relations between Israel and the United States are well over the years," he stressed. "But there are risks and chances to work together on a peaceful solution of two states for two peoples".

He added "we have, the United States and Israel, many challenges offered many options. I commend your leadership in organizing war against ISIS and must prevent Iran from becoming nuclear. There shall not remove the sanctions on Iran to not make Iran a nuclear state. "

"As for the dangers, Israel fully supports your efforts to defeat ISIS and I think that everyone must support it. But even more important is our shared our goal to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Iran is seeking agreement to remove the sanctions so severe that you worked hard to place, and that leaves it as the nuclear threshold. I hope it will not happen under your leadership.

"At the same time, I think there are opportunities that are changing the Middle East. Since the new situation created a convergence of interests between Israel and other Arab leaders, I think we need to work hard together to take advantage of these interests and develop a plan that will advance a safer, more prosperous and more peaceful Middle East.

I am committed to the vision of peace based on two states for two peoples based on mutual recognition and robust security arrangements. I believe we should take advantage of new opportunities, think outside the box and see how you can mobilize Arab countries to promote this positive agenda ".

Minister Uri Ariel responded to reports that Netanyahu told Obama that he committed to two states: No institution nor formal or non-governmental institutions and Likud Knesset approved the Prime Minister of two states for two peoples. So the statement is not binding on the State of Israel and will never happen. "

Minister Bennett responded: 'Whoever is committed to war against ISIS and Hamas cannot give them a state. Palestinian statehood flew away last summer with missiles on Ben Gurion Airport, and it would be good if we learn a few lessons from it, and quickly!"
