Rebbe of Toldos Avraham Yitzchak taken from Tisch to hospital

The Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Rebbe – who spent Shabbos in Boro Park, Brooklyn, felt ill in the midst of the Tisch on Friday night and was taken to hospital.

The Rebbe arrived this week to the United States for the Annual Appeal for his institutions.

He made the Tisches in the Ateres Golda halls. During the recitation of zmiros on Friday night, the Rebbe felt unwell. He was taken into a side room where he was treated by a Hatzala volunteer. A doctor who was called to check the Rebbe ordered his evacuation to the Maimonedes hospital.

The Rebbe continued the Tisch in the hospital until 3:00 am along with his associates. On Shabbos morning, where he prayed in his room with a small minyan and held the Tisch and shalosh seudos.

During tests it was diagnosed that he suffered of a cardiac event and he is expected to undergo a pacemaker transplant. The Rebbe's condition is now stable and he is recovering.
