MK Moshe Gafni said before the bill of approval for the Knesset, "When this government was formed, I said it will not last more than a year and a half but did not really believe my own words. I did not think it would happen so soon, and at such a level of disgust among the leaders of the coalition. Apparently it's from Hashem. We have a decisive role in the opposition to topple the government and that means we've done our job.

During the period we served in roles, there was no negative growth, plants were not closed down. Brill shoes, IMI, by no means did we let them close down even though I'm not sure there are voters there of Torah Judaism. Credit rating rose all the time, we joined the OECD. We had a fight against tycoons and thank G-d we have become a gas superpower. We have become a rich country. Now we have become poor with growing gaps between rich and poor.

"When there is someone who does not know how to take care of anything about a family in Israel, the one who took advantage of the situation was the Jewish Home. All they have harmed us, they took for themselves. What do they think, that we will keep quiet about it?"

Shas chairman MK Aryeh Deri also spoke and said, "Elections within two years is something bad, it's a waste of money and naturally we had to vote against. But still this government was formed in sin and rose on the basis of the exclusion of entire sectors and based on boycotting and hateful discourse. They decreed the most difficult decrees for the vulnerable sectors in Israel.

"An alliance of different ideologies that what united them was hatred and disgust for the weaker sectors. A government which does not represent the lower classes has no right of existence. It is time that the discourse will cease to be one of hatred. For us all factions democratically elected are potential partners, we do not boycott anyone".

"A week ago I said here in the Knesset that we have two basic conditions to enter the next government - raising the minimum wage and the reduction of VAT on basic goods and I am glad to see that very soon the economy minister canceled a trip to raise the minimum wage and the Prime Minister remembered lowering the VAT. This is the discourse we want there to be. "
