Knesset visitors' gallery was deserted this evening (Monday) at the time of the vote, but dozens of yeshiva students were prominent in their presence.
Dozens of yeshiva students filled this evening the guests stand in the Knesset, causing raised eyebrows and discomfort by Orthodox MKs.
It will be recalled at the time MK Ruth Calderon from Yesh Atid complained of the presence of yeshiva students demonstrated at the Knesset, and called it the cancellation of the Torah. "It is a disgrace," she said, "blasphemy of scholars sitting here in idleness".
Haredi MKs also protested against the phenomenon that causes blasphemy and allegations against the conduct of the yeshivas.
