Noam Federman in response to Betzelem photographs: "These are cut and edited photos and I intend to sue the members of the organization who deliberately concealed the part where Arabs were throwing stones at the IDF jeep, and the jeep escapes. Throwing stones at a bus – and the bus runs away".
"Throwing stones at me – I'm no sucker. When they throw stones at me - will not turn the other cheek. All my activity was self-defense.
"I will sue the people of Betzelem for defamation. It's also strange that the Betzelem photographer was at the place. I assume there was coordination between the stone-throwers and the photographer".
"At that moment I did not think too much," Federman said in an interview with Kol Barama's noon journal, "The Arabs who threw stones risked not only my life but also the lives of those who came after me."
"I was not the first who was attacked at the same time, there was an IDF jeep and instead of tackling the situation it fled from the scene, apparently following the strict instructions they have not to do anything and other cars also got hit by stones, and I did what I did to prevent the continuation".
