The name of Eli Yishai's party will be 'Maran', as published this evening (Sunday) by Channel 2.
According to the channel, Yishai's party's name will be 'Maran'. If he runs with Uri Ariel Construction Minister and members of Tekuma, the name 'Yachad' will be selected.
According to the channel, the Shas movement has already announced they would oppose the name Maran at the Central Election Committee.
Earlier in the evening, Shas chairman Aryeh Deri said at a press conference with the Rabbanit Adina Bar Shalom, "Maran said with his voice that he returns the deposit and appoints me to be the leader of the movement. After the death of Maran we lost the anchor.
