Border Guard officers arrested today (Wednesday) four suspects who apparently intended to attack - pipe bombs were seized from their bodies.
Around 3:00, Border Policemen stationed at the lookout located at the Salem checkpoint near Jenin, heard an explosion near the checkpoint itself. Samaria Border patrol team came and identified four suspects. The fighters carried out apprehension of a suspect included remote abstraction.
Whilst striping them - fighters identified several pipe bombs on the bodies of the suspects. The four were arrested and the power and cargo were removed from the suspects.
During initial interrogation at the scene, the suspects admitted they'd intended to carry out an attack against the security forces. Four Palestinians, adult residents of Nablus, were arrested and will be taken following an investigation by the Shin Bet. Additional forces were sent forward into the arena, and border police sapper neutralizes the charges at this time.
Company Commander Members entitled notes: "Apparently alert and quick response of the fighters prevented a terrorist attack. We maintain very high operational vigilance in all tasks, with the understanding that such events can occur at anytime and anywhere. We will continue to act with determination and professionalism to neutralize any security threat of our forces and citizens of Israel.
