A young haredi man of 23 from Jerusalem was seriously injured last night (Sunday) in a head-on collision of a car with a garbage truck.
The incident occurred around midnight. The garbage truck collided with private car on Route 90 near the intersection of Masada.
Paramedics of Magen David Adom gave medical treatment to the wounded of about 23 who was severely injured, and he was evacuated by a military helicopter to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba.
This is a private car that came from Jerusalem and collided head-on with a garbage truck. Traffic testers launched an investigation.
The injured is hospitalized in general intensive care unit at Soroka Hospital, and is suffering from a serious injury in his limb. He was taken to the operating room upon arrival. He is in serious condition and is sedated.
