Baruch Dayan Haemes: A tragedy in Jerusalem - Rabbi Moshe Buenos passed away on the eve of his only son's wedding, at age 48. His funeral will be held at 14:00 pm.
Behadrey Haredim learned that about a month ago leukemia was discovered in the blood of the deceased, and he was treated at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. Tonight, after suffering severe pain, he answered his soul to its Creator.
The late Rabbi Moshe Buenos is the eighth generation living in Jerusalem; he worked as a salesman for baking products.
His son Reuven Elad (Ruvy) Buenos is a student at the Knesset Hagdolah in Modi'in Illit and close to the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Hillel Sachs, was to marry at the Jerusalem convention center tonight. Following the tragedy and mourning the wedding was postponed to next week.
A family member tells behadrey haredim: "This is a great crisis. The family did not expect the death.
The deceased is survived by his wife Tzivia, only son and two daughters who have not yet married.
The funeral will be held today at 14:00 noon at Mount Hamenuhot, where he will be laid to rest.
