20 year old seriously injured by motorcycle in Tel Aviv

Danger on the roads: a 20-year old young man was seriously injured this morning in Tel Aviv by a motorcycle, the rider was slightly injured.
A young pedestrian was seriously injured at about 7:00am this morning by a motorcycle on Moshe Dayan Street in Tel Aviv. After initial medical treatment, he was taken by a mobile intensive care unit of MDA in serious condition to Ichilov Hospital with head and pelvis injuries.
The motorcycle rider was treated by paramedics in light condition. The circumstances of the accident will be reviewed by the police.
Nikki Yonathan, volunteer of Ichud Hatzalah said: "When I got to the scene the pedestrian who crossed the street at a crosswalk suffered from serious head and multi-system injuries as a result of being hit by a motorcycle, the motorcycle rider who hit him had bruised limbs, myself and another volunteer of Ichud Hatzalah gave them first aid until the arrival of the mobile intensive care and ambulance which evacuated the wounded to Ichilov Hospital."
Following the accident, Bitzaron Street was closed to traffic in both directions, and the police forces are directing the traffic. There are traffic loads on the scene.
