Arush family, who lost this morning (Sunday) their daughter in a car accident driving back from the Baba Sali's hillula, still hospitalized at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.
In the afternoon, the funeral of the baby Faiga Chana Arush a"h was held, the granddaughter of Rabbi Shalom Arush, who was killed in the morning a horrific car accident on Route 34, adjacent to Kibbutz Gavim in the South. Her immediate family members who are still in the hospital were unable to attend the funeral, and she was buried on the Mount of Olives.
Father, Rabbi Shimon Makhlouf ben Miraim Varda, underwent surgery and is recovering. His condition remains serious but stable. The mother Daniela bat Zehava, wounded in fair condition and is being monitored in the delivery room because of her advanced pregnancy.
Children are hospitalized in intensive care and danger still exists. Nachman ben Daniela and Miriam bat Daniela. Another woman in the intensive care unit is under observation, she suffers from several injuries and her condition is stable.
