After 65 years - 3Egyptian shells were detected
During the cleaning project in Ramat Negev areas, three shells remaining from the War of Independence were located

Egyptian shells from War of Independence, evidence of the battles that took place with the Egyptian army, were discovered not far from Ashalim Ramat Negev, areas that were until recently firing areas.
Shells, estimated weight of about 50 kg, were buried for more than 65 years, and they were discovered during land clearing held by IEOD towards establishing national project for solar.
On Tuesday, the shells will be blown up by a controlled explosion. Road 211 will be closed due to the explosion at 10:00 for up to half an hour.
