Denmark's murdered security guard: Dan Uzan, son of an Israeli father

Jewish man who was killed in a synagogue in Copenhagen is Dan Uzan hy"d, son of an Israeli father, 37 when he died.

Dan Uzan worked as a security guard for Jewish institutions in Copenhagen, capital of Denmark. He was murdered whilst securing a bat mitzvah party of a well known family in the Great Synagogue and the center of Copenhagen located in the city center.

Chabad emissary Yitzchak Lowenthal who runs the Chabad House located not far from the main synagogue of the Jewish community, told the Chabad website, Shturem, "I was in the synagogue where the attack took place, half an hour before the shooting."

"Security forces closed all the Chabad House Street, no enter or leave the house we can see the ongoing hunt. We pray for the safety of the wounded in the attack that took place today at noon at the cafe and the attack took place tonight in the synagogue, and expressed condolences to the family of the victim, neither slumbers nor sleeps keeps Israel.
