Terror in Tunisia: At least 20 tourists were kidnapped and murdered

About 22 people were killed in Tunis during crossfire between police and a group of terrorists who kidnapped tourists as hostages, near the Tunisian parliament.

The incident began when terrorists in military uniform opened fire on a tour bus, at Bardo Museum parking lot adjacent to Parliament and then broke into the museum building, there they were able to take hostages who were there, including children. About 200 tourists were able to escape.

22 people, including 20 tourists, local citizen and a policeman, were killed in an exchange of fire between the police and army with the terrorists who were armed with Kalashnikovs. Later, two terrorists were killed and tourists were rescued, but not before some of them took pictures of the events.

Security forces surrounded the building, broke in and killed two gunmen during a policeman. The hostages photographed the events in the lobby, where you can see them all sitting on the floor in a room.

Prime Minister of Tunisia, Al-Habib al-Sayyed, said that perhaps two or three terrorists who were involved in the terror attack at the museum in the capital still roam freely.

The tourists are from South Africa, France, Poland, Italy and France.
