Flatbush disaster: Sephardic rabbis in a strengthening letter

Following the terrible and shocking tragedy in which seven holy souls died a terrible death during last Saturday Gedolei Yisrael, led by President of the Council of Torah Sages Hgr"sh Cohen called to be strengthened following the horrifying disaster.
In their letter Gedolei Yisrael write: "We cannot remain silent and say, our hands have not shed this blood that certainly arouses us from heaven to strengthen each one with regard to him."
Gedolei Yisrael also call upon yeshiva and kollel students to strengthen diligently in Torah with enthusiasm, "and yeshiva students and kollel students strengthen in Torah diligently with enthusiasm "Torah is compared to fire", and in particular the study of the laws of Shabbat, consider Shabbat against all mitzvah in the Torah."
Gedolei Yisrael finish their letter when they call to pray for the recovery of the mother and daughter who are still in critical condition – Gila bat Francis and her daughter Zipporah bat Gila.
