Integrated activity of the Israel Police - Northern District and the General Security Service, arrested a number of residents of the Golan Heights on suspicion of involvement from a main gathering and documenting information on the northern border, among other things about IDF activity in the sector and sharing intelligence information with government officials in Syria.
The investigation revealed that Suleiman Ahmed, a resident of Majdal Shams / Golan Heights, documented the IDF activity in the north, collected information about it, even with the help of others, and passed intelligence information to government officials in Syria. Transmission of information was carried out by raising materials to the Internet, Syrian TV advertising materials and through direct contact of elements in Syria.
During interrogation he admitted that he collected information about IDF activity in the north and published materials online and on Syrian television program. He also admitted in connection to Madhat Saleh, a Syrian government recognized his links to Syrian intelligence.
In the course of the serious affair others were also detained, after they were suspected to have assisted in the collection of information.
On 03.27.2015 filed against Zodki at the Nazareth District Court, with a grave indictment offenses: espionage, aiding the enemy during the war, conspiracy to commit a crime, contacting a foreign agent.
