Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the recommendation of Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon, IDF and Shin Bet and ordered to transfer to the Palestinian Authority tax revenues earned in recent months.
Consequently tax funds accumulated since February will be transferred by payments for services rendered to the Palestinian population, including electricity, water, and treatment in hospitals.
The decision was taken in part from humanitarian considerations and a broad view of the interests of Israel at this time.
