Author of series "Redeemer of Israel", who was considered the researcher of Satmar hassidus, died at 63 • The funeral was held yesterday

Baruch Dayan Ha'emes: the researcher of Satmar, Rabbi Shlomo Yaakov Gelbman z"l passed away last Shabbos at the age of 63.
The late Rabbi Gelbman published his book "Moshian shel Yisrael" of nine volumes on the history of the Vayoel Moshe of Satmar zt"l, and is considered an historian with ties on both sides.
He also served as a joker of the Hasidus by the Rebbe Vayoel Moshe and the Rebbe Barech Moshe zt"l.
In the last 15 years Rabbi Gelbman served as the main fundraiser of Satmar institutions in Williamsburg. All the benefactors and rich in Satmar showed him abundant affection.
The funeral procession left last night (Motzaei Shabbos) from the large Beis Midrash Satmar in Williamsburg to the cemetery.
May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
