Kiryat Ata ultra-Orthodox community in mourning: the late Rabbi Raphael Zalmanovich, yeshiva students in the city, died suddenly at the age of 38

Baruch Dayan Haemes: Tragedy in Kiryat Ata: Today (Monday) the young avrech Rabbi Raphael Zalmanov z"l of the CHanichei Yeshivos community in the city, passed away suddenly at the age of 38.
The deceased was born in Kiryat Ata to his father Rabbi David Zalmanov, a teacher at the Chinuch Atzmai in Haifa and Kiryat Ata, and his mother Mrs. Leah, a supervisor at a kindergarten network.
During his youth he studied at the Nachlas David yeshiva in Petach Tikva and later at the Knesset Chezkiyahu in Rechasim – there he learned Torah, and following his marriage he continued to live at his birth place of Kiryat Ata.
His friends tell that he operated in kiruv, and had a special bond with underprivileged youth, with whom he would learn.
His funeral left this afternoon at 17:00 from his home towards the cemetery in the city – where he will be laid to rest.
