Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu attended the Mimouna celebration in Or Akiva.

During the celebration, Netanyahu said: "First I want to welcome everyone with Chag Sameach, "tirvachu vetisadu", and I want to tell you that my family and I, Sarah and the children, we went during the festival like so many families in Israel and saw the great swing in our country. Everywhere you go you see cranes, you see roads built, you see communities expanding, some of them should probably be helped to grow faster. There is great momentum in the state of Israel and we are committed to continuing it by concern for three things: First, the unity of the people - this is reflected in the Mimouna, the dust of elections has already declined, one should strengthen the unity among the citizens of Israel and the nation of Israel - and this we shall do.

"Second, the welfare of the people - we are committed to continuing the impressive economic accelerated development of the state of Israel, but make sure that this will be accompanied by lowering the cost of living, especially housing prices and for this purpose one should increase the supply, to increase the supply in many, many ways - and this we shall do. We promised to do this, and this will be the first task of the government which I will establish with G-d's help speedily.

"And the third thing, which is perhaps the first thing, is to ensure the security of the people. We are facing great challenges and the greatest of which remains the attempt by Iran to develop a nuclear weapons capability. Unfortunately, all the things I warned about in the framework of the agreement that emerged in Lausanne, are taking form before our eyes. This framework gives the world's leading terrorist state a safe path for nuclear bombs which threaten Israel, the Middle East and the world. We see that Iran is left with significant nuclear capabilities, they did not dismantle them, they preserve them. We see that supervision is not serious either - how can you rely on this country?! And there is in fact currently no real monitoring mechanism. We see they are removing the sanctions, according to the demand of Iran immediately, and that is without Iran changing its aggressive policy in the entire region, not just against Israel - against Yemen, against the Strait of Bab el Mandeb, against the Middle East, against its system of international terrorism. We are talking of course in the name of Israel and for the security of Israel, but I truly believe that we are also talking about the security of the world. It is forbidden that the most dangerous terroristic state in the world will receive the most dangerous weapon in the world. Therefore, we are committed to try to avoid a bad agreement and replace it with a good agreement.

"I want to wish you that all your heart desires will be realized, that our country will continue to prosper and grow, and I promise you I will do everything to take care of, again, the unity of the people, the welfare of the people and the security of Israel".
