Deadline approaching: Deri will meet with Netanyahu
Four days left to forming a coalition, Netanyahu and Deri will meet again tonight in an attempt to bridge the gaps between the parties

After the meeting last Thursday, which broke the rift between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Shas chairman Aryeh Deri, tonight (Saturday night), the two will meet in an attempt to reach coalition understandings on controversial issues.
As recalled, the breakthrough between the parties was made after Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke on Thursday with Shas chairman Aryeh Deri and informed him that he accepts the request on the subject of zero VAT on basic goods. Then, on Thursday night, the two men met together with leaders of the parties' negotiating teams.
Earlier in the evening, Deri said in an interview with Channel 10 News that he would not appoint a deputy minister in the Ministry of Religious Affairs from the Jewish Home.
