Watch: the American administration saluted the Satmar Governor


US officials saluted the late Rabbi Zvi Castenboim and his son Governor Rabbi Eliezer Castenboim, for the operation on behalf of the cemeteries in Europe.

An unusual sight was seen in the Canadian Senate Building in Washington, when some fifty heads of Satmar Hasidism and the ultra-Orthodox in New York gathered with US government officials, ambassadors from different countries to remember the renowned activist Rabbi Tzvi (Herschel) Castenboim z"l, who registered in the name saving hundreds of lives across Europe and rehabilitation anew by the ministry "American Heritage".

The firm "American Heritage" was established in Tsm"d when a special law passed by Senator Ted Kennedy with the help of activist Satmar Rabbi Tzvi Castenboim z"l. This law was the only one to ever pass the US Senate actually founded by the ministry in question, the CEO and 21 members of the committee who are in charge of appointing the President of the United States himself. Since then the office is busy in saving heritage sites throughout the globe which have American interests. Activist Rabbi Tzvi used the authority of the office in order to save hundreds of lives and Jewish heritage sites in Europe and around the world.

The second anniversary of Rabbi Castenboim it was decided in Congress and the US Senate, on both sides of the divide, the Republican and Democratic, to honor his memory at a special salute the initiative of Rabbi Ezra Friedlander CEO of the Friedlander Group, and invited the renowned Governor son Rabbi Eliezer Castenboim to be the guest of honor and keynote speaker.

The event was held with Satmar community leaders who came to Washington to honor the event with their participation.

Amongst them, prominent politicians and senior officials who gave speeches, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in charge of the negotiations with Iran, the strong man of Democrats Steny Hower, Congressman Ed Royce, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Congresswoman Debbie Osrmn- Schultz chairman of the Interior Committee of Congress, Congressman Charlie Brengle, Congressman Ted Lue, and several ambassadors.
