The Jerusalem municipality storms Berland's home: demolition of Rabbi's study

The Jerusalem Municipality is preparing for continued demolition operation of the additions built at the home of Shuvu Banim leader, Rabbi Eliezer Berland.
The Jerusalem Municipality announced to residents of the house on Ido Hanavi - where Rabbi Berland lived - that it intends to demolish a shed erected beneath his home, known to community members as the Rabbi's study.
Rabbi Berland would hold celebrations and events at the study.
Inspectors from the Jerusalem Municipality demolished the balcony which was used as a study and reception of the Rabbi in Israel, until he ran away three years ago.
Message from his hideout Rabbi Berland says: "This house which for years had an enrollment of Torah and prayer and activities and Torah classes will now be destroyed by incomparable malice, they just did it as revenge against the Rabbi who suddenly evaded from their hands, so they are now looking how to take revenge against the Berland family,
