The brothers married the same week - became parents on the same day

Some families just love to do everything together. So too with the Bitton and Abu families from Haifa, consisting of two brothers and their spouses. After they married within a week, two young couples have become parents for the first time, three hours apart, in the same hospital. That's how it is when you are one big happy family.

Linoy (20 years old) and her husband Nissim Bitton (22) got married last August, a week later, her brother Eliran (28) walked down the aisle and married Oshrat (19). After marrying, both woman became pregnant at the same time and gave birth nine months later, to their eldest daughters yesterday at Rambam, at an interval of about three hours.


Linoy first entered the delivery room, who gave birth to a healthy daughter at 02:18 weighing 3.280 kg. A quarter to five in the morning Oshrat also gave birth to a girl, she delivered a healthy baby weighing 3.550.

From their shared maternity ward the two mothers approved togetherness tradition ":" It's really fun that the entire family celebrates together the joys and are together all the time, "says Linoy and adds with a smile," that way we aren’t bored. "

The tradition will continue now with the two new cousins : "They will grow together, celebrate birthdays and bat mitzvahs together, like sisters," says Oshrat, "We are happy".
