Mother of 13: Rebbetzin Yael Sha'ashua a"h

Baruch Dayan Ha'emes: in the Assuta Hospital in Tel Aviv died today (Monday) Rebbetzin Yael Chaya Sha'ashua a"h, wife of Hagaon Rabbi Yosef Sha'ashua head of the Beit Yosef Holon institutions and sister of the chairman of Yachad, Eli Yishai.

Recently, she was gravely ill and was hospitalized. Today her condition deteriorated and she returned her soul to its Creator at the age of 45.

The deceased a"h was born in Israel on the 1st of Shvat 5730 (1970) to her father Rabbi Zion Yishai and her mother Mrs. Fortuna. She was known as a righteous woman standing in devotion for her husband, her entire life she lived modestly, and raised her children to Torah and fear of Heaven.

Despite her family being blessed with children – she adopted a few months old baby who comes from a broken home and attached him to her family.

She is survived by thirteen children who continue the spiritual way she bequeathed with all her might.

The funeral will leave at 17:00 from Talmud Torah Beit Yosef in Holon on 5 Hachazit Street to the Yarkon cemetery where she will be interred.

Sitting of shiva is on 5 Nahshon Street in Holon.
