Harav R' Leibish Rabinowitz
Baruch Dayan Ha'emes: at Hadassah Hospital on Mt. Scopus in Jerusalem, died on Friday night, Harav Leibish Rabinowitz z"l, eldest of Boyan Hasidim. He was 91.
The deceased z"l was born in Jerusalem to his father Rabbi Hanania Yosef Rabinowitz, of blessed memory – one of the prominent Boyan Hasidim.
He was close to the Boyan Rebbes, and the current Rebbe shlita. He ran the charity fund in the Rebbe's room, in Horenstein Buildings, Jerusalem. Last week he came in with the rest of the Hasidim for Kvitelach at the Rebbe.
The funeral will leave tonight at 22:30 from the Shamgar Funeral Home in Jerusalem through the Great Beis Midrash of Boyan on Malchei Israel Street to the Mount of Olives, where he will be buried near the grave of the Rebbe of Boyan zt"l.
May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
