Shortly after 7 o'clock this morning (Sunday) the first terrorist incident occurred this morning. A car bomb exploded near the A'zaiim checkpoint in Jerusalem, after policemen signaled to a suspect driver to stop.
In response the woman driver called 'Allah Akbar' and detonated an explosive device which exploded the vehicle. It was initially reported that the suicide bomber was killed instantly, however she was severely wounded. A policeman who was standing nearby was slightly injured.
No doubt this is a miracle, in addition to the chain of miracles last week. If the terrorist was able to activate the explosive in the car in a crowded place, results would have been different. According to various estimates, the original objective of the terrorist was an IDF barrier located 200 meters from where she was identified by the policemen.
At this time police sappers are handling the vehicle, and neutralizing another charge which was discovered inside.
It should be noted that yesterday the prime minister ordered the emergency recruitment of 13 Border Guard troops.
