Shabbat of terrorism: three stabbings and a rocket from Gaza

On Shabbat morning at around 8:15 atabbing attempt occurred when terrorist Mohammed Awad Kawasma, 18 years old, arrived at Hadassah House in the Jewish settlement in Hebron and tried to stab a Jew, he was shot and killed by him.

An hour later, the terrorist Mu'taz Awisat, 16, from Jabal Mukaber tried to stab a border policeman on Rav Hachovel Street in East Talpiot in Jerusalem, the officer shot and killed him.

The terrorist, who raised the suspicion of a civilian at the scene, was detained by warriors, and gave them his ID. He then pulled out a knife and slightly wounded the hand of one of them. Then he was shot and killed by them.

At around 11:30 terrorist girl Biyan al-Asili, 16, stabbed a policewoman in Hebron, wounding her lightly and was shot dead. The official news agency of the Palestinian Authority, WAFA, reported that the terrorist was shot dead in vain when passing through the checkpoint.

In another incident, a 30-year-old Jew was shot dead in Bat Yam by a policeman. During a brawl, a patrol policeman noticed a man running toward him with knives, the police officer shot him dead. A PID investigation was launched.

During Shabbat security forces raided the mourning tent in the neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber, of terrorist Baha Alyan who performed with his friend Bilal Ranem the shooting and stabbing attack on line #78 in East Talpiot in Jerusalem. In this attack Chaim Chaviv was killed and his wife Shoshana was injured, as well as Alon Govberg Hy"d, 51 years old who was killed.

On Friday night, a rocket was launched from the Gaza Strip and landed in an open area near the security fence in the northern Gaza Strip. This morning the rocket was identified during a search. An engineering corpse was called in since the rocket did not explode, and carried out a controlled explosion.
