A security camera recorded the run over attack that occurred today (Wednesday) in the afternoon, in which a Border Policeman was critically wounded near Karmei Tsur, on Route 60.
As seen in the security camera documentation, a passing vehicle on the road drove towards the team Border Guard officers who worked there. Suddenly, the driver moved his vehicle and struck powerfully at one of the fighters. As stated, the fighters who stood nearby opened fire at the terrorist, and he was pronounced dead on the spot.
In the afternoon, at around 16:00, a car driving on Route 60 from Halhul towards the north border hit a border policeman and wounded him. A force which was at the place shot at the terrorist, 23-year-old Ibrahim Sakafi of Hebron, killing him.
Magen David Adom teams provided medical care to the policeman, and he was taken in critical condition suffering from complex multisystem injuries to Hadassah Hospital in Ein Karem.
Police said a vehicle came towards Border Guard officers who worked there, and suddenly the driver steered his car and hit powerfully at one of the warriors. Warriors who stood near the site opened fire at the terrorist, and he was pronounced dead on the spot. At hospital the policeman was diagnosed as suffering of head injury and further bruising, in critical condition. Hadassah reported that the policeman is in mortal danger.
